Family Pics

We had our family Pics taken on Wednesday night at this great spot in Ogden, There were all kinds of old props that I am so excited about the one I love the most was the old bus, the gal's who took our pics sent over a sneak peak. What do you think? I will post the rest when I get them.

I love this time of year!!

The kids had UEA this last week and we spent one of our days at the corn maze, first of all it was Forty dollars to get in and I was like "YIKES" I thought it was a Little pricey, but once you got inside you could see that you got what you paid for. There were pig races so funny, a slide that was three stories tall, I could not keep Lacey away from it, A jump house, train and this corn pit it is like a sand box but with kernels of corn. We Eric was changing Lacey's diaper he found it full of corn. The best part was the tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch where you could pick out the biggest pumpkin's, the kids had a great time and that is what counts. One of my other favorite things about this time of year are my Halloween decorations, every year up at Swiss Days I pick up this hand painted gourds with cute whimsical faces on them I LOVE LOVE LOVE them, and of course my new thing OWLS, I just saw this great OWL pumpkin on Martha Stuarts web site that I am going to have to try out. Whoo goes there???

I don't know how it happened but I have developed this oppression with owls. I can not get enough of them and the one person "who" is taking the brunt of it is little Lacey loo who who!! And I think she loves them just as much as I do. She has 5 owls shirts which she loves and always wants to wear. My sister in law Hailey calls me the creepy old owl lady. Here are a few shots of my love for owls. LOL

one with the BEES!!!!

OK well this would be the reason why we have not invited anyone over to check out our new pad. We had major bee problems and I seriously thought that I was going crazy and that maybe they were coming in from the outside or what not well I had the exterminator come over again yesterday on Sunday because I could hear them in the ceiling. No Joke!!! Well we had to go thru the ceiling and this hive was bigger than a thanksgiving Turkey. There were well over 1,000 bees hanging out in there and by far the biggest nest the exterminator had ever seen. He got stung five times to my 0. Yeah. Well enjoy!!

MY BIG BOY!!!

Look who lost his first tooth!! He did not even realize it was loose until I pointed out, then he could not leave it alone, well he did most of the work himself and I popped it out for him. He was soooo brave, and very excited for the tooth fairy to come. He is getting to big for me!! Her are some cute pics!!!

What am I going to do now?

I think it is safe to say that I am not the only women, wife , mother in the world who has ignored her lanundry, feed the kids cereal for dinner,and said just 10 more minutes to her husband. And yet I am so sad that it is over, I wish it could go on forever, but like they say all great things must come to an end. Now my only option is to re-read the books, wait for here to write another great book, or get some ideas for some good reads from my freinds!! I would love to hear what other great books are out there and what you would suggest!

Caden and Quinners First day of school

Well it's official I have a child in the 5th grade who is almost as tall as me, who has a men's size 8 foot, ( I keep teasing him with the old saying you know what they say about big feet! He is going to hate me when he gets older:), and who told me the other day he things he need deodorant. Holy Crap!!!! How did this happen? And then quinner who is just a little peanut and the clothes fall off of him. It's funny with the second child where you have already done 3rd grade so it does not seem like such a big deal, but it is I feel like my kids childhood is slipping right through my fingers. I just want them to stay just the way they are now!! less the attitude, am I right!!

Here today gone tomorrow!!!

I can hardly believe this summer is gone!!! We have been so busy having fun that I have been a total bum and have not posted all our fun. Not a day went buy that Caden and Quinn would say "so what are we doing today MOM" Well there was always plenty to do which included the following, weekly if not daily trips to the bountiful bubble ( I LOVE THIS POOL!!) Lagoon, parks, discovery gateway, dollar movies, Italian Village takeout then a visit to Murray Park sooo much fun, and mostly ruling the roost over our neighborhood!! I swear I should get a counter for our front door to track all the activity it receives. I am sad that it is over but glad to get back to a more structured schedule which means no more sleeping in ( I am Guilty as charged!!)

Caden and Quinner have been begging me to grow out there hair and to get it highlighted(HOW CUTE HUGH!) Anyways they have missed like 2 haircuts and there hair is just long and nappy looking caden looks like he has a football helmet on and Quinn looks like eddie munster HA HA.

So I made them a deal , that I would highlight there hair if they would let me cut it!! Well I won and we spent the afternoon doing there hair and it turned out so cute. Here are some before and after pics. Aren't they adorable!!

Summer Fun

What a great weekend! Our Ward had a picnic slash water party and what a ball it was our neighbors backyard backs up to the school yard and the yard has some great hills. They attached a 20x100 foot tarp to the hill and had several water hoses going on at once. Well lets just say adults and kids alike were all taking there turns. At one point one of the adults(you know who you are:) had 5 kids riding on his back on the way down, What a great time. The pictures tell it all.

Well it's another HOT one outside today!!! And what's summer without a lemonade stand? The kids have been begging to do one so today seemed like the perfect day. The have had tons of cars stopping to buy from them, sometimes 2-3 cars waiting and the smiles on there faces says it all. They are having a ball!

This isn't as hard as I thought

Well I thought I would take some time to figure this out, and it is actually easier then I thought it would be. It is Saturday and it is a scorcher it is going to be 98 degrees today so we thought we would have a beach day in the back yard with the kids blow up waterslide, Eric and I will have to take a ride down the slip and slide to cool off. My baby sister Mandy has been trying to get me on into the blogging world and I have to say that since she started hers I have been hooked. It may take me some time to get this rolling, with how busy I am with my family and all but keep checking back often so you can see how we are all doing.
